1.Who we are
Waqas Nawaz Notes (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an education service owned and operated by Muhammad Waqas Nawaz, Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. We help students of the Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (9th, 10th, 1st Year and 2nd Year) with study notes, guess papers, important questions, test series and private WhatsApp study groups.
We are the data controller for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy, which means we decide why and how it is used. “You” means any student, parent, guardian or visitor who contacts us or uses our service.
2.Scope
This policy applies to personal information we process when you:
- message our official WhatsApp Business number +92 308 6457272, including conversations started from our Facebook Page, Instagram or a Click-to-WhatsApp advertisement;
- visit waqasnawaz.org or any of its sub-domains (for example api.waqasnawaz.org);
- open a download link, file or form that we send you.
It does not cover how Meta Platforms, Inc. or its companies (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram) handle your account. For that, please read the WhatsApp Privacy Policy and the Meta Privacy Policy.
3.Information we collect

Information created while we serve you
- Message records: date and time of messages and their delivery / read status.
- Service records: menu steps you reached, payment status (pending, approved, rejected), the group you were given access to, labels and notes our teacher adds to help you.
- Technical data: for website pages and download links, standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and time of request, used for security and to stop misuse of private links.
Information we do not want
We do not ask for sensitive information such as CNIC numbers, health, religious or political information. Please do not send it.
4.Data from Meta and WhatsApp
We use the WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API) provided by Meta. Through it we receive only the information needed to run the conversation you started with us:
- your WhatsApp number and profile name, and the messages and media you send to our number;
- message delivery and read receipts for the messages we send you;
- if you reached us from one of our ads or our Facebook Page, the ad or page reference (for example the ad name and headline) that WhatsApp attaches to your first message.
We use this Platform Data only to provide and improve our service to you, in line with the Meta Platform Terms, WhatsApp Business Policy and WhatsApp Commerce Policy. We do not sell it, license it, use it to build profiles for others, share it with data brokers or advertising networks, or use it to discriminate against anyone. We do not send your information back to Meta for advertising (we do not use the Conversions API). You can ask us to delete it at any time (see Deleting your data).
5.How we use information
- Respond to you and send the information, notes and files you ask for.
- Show our classes, groups and fees, and confirm your fee payment.
- Give access to the correct private study group and send its link and files.
- Send service messages you would expect, such as a reminder about a fee you started to pay, or asking whether you could join your group. These are sent only inside WhatsApp's customer-service window and you can reply STOP at any time.
- Keep records of payments and students for our accounts.
- Improve our service, including understanding, in totals and inside our own system only, which of our ads were useful.
- Protect our students and service: preventing spam, fake payment proofs and sharing of paid links.
- Meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We do not send promotional broadcasts to people who have not messaged us, and we follow WhatsApp's rules on opt-in and opt-out.

7.Automated replies and AI
To reply quickly, some answers come from an automatic menu (chatbot). General study questions may be answered by an AI assistant (Google Gemini); for public information such as board date sheets or results, it may search the web (through Serper or Tavily). Only your question (text or voice note) and recent messages of the conversation are used for this. Your phone number is not sent to these providers. Our teacher may also use the AI to help draft a reply, which he reviews before sending.
9.No sale, no advertising use
We do not sell, rent, trade or license your personal information to anyone. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers or other businesses for their own marketing, and we do not use it for targeted advertising outside our own conversation with you.
10.Data retention

After these periods we delete the information or make it anonymous. If you ask us to delete your data, we do it sooner.
11.Security
- All connections to our website, server and database are encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS).
- Access to the teacher's dashboard and app is limited to authorised people and protected by passwords and secure sign-in tokens.
- Download links are private, signed and limited, so they cannot be guessed or freely shared.
- Access keys are stored as protected server settings, never in public code.
- We collect the minimum information needed and review who has access.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
12.Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Send your request on WhatsApp to +92 308 6457272 or email waqasnawaz216@gmail.com. We answer within 7 days, free of charge. To protect you, we may ask you to confirm the request from your own WhatsApp number.
13.Deleting your data
Send DELETE MY DATA on WhatsApp to +92 308 6457272 from the number you used with us, or email waqasnawaz216@gmail.com. We confirm within 48 hours and delete your information within 7 days (backups within 30 days). Full steps: Data Deletion instructions.
14.Students under 18
Our service is designed for school and college students, many of whom are under 18. We collect only what is needed to provide study help, we do not ask for sensitive information, and we never sell children's data or use it for advertising. Students under 18 should use our service with the knowledge and permission of a parent or guardian, who may contact us at any time to review or delete their child's information.
15.International transfers
We are based in Pakistan. Our service providers may store or process information in other countries, such as Singapore, India, the European Union or the United States. We use established providers with strong security, and transfer only what is needed for the purposes in this policy.
17.Third-party links
Our messages and pages may link to other websites (for example board websites or WhatsApp). We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please read their policies.
18.Data incidents
If a security incident affects your personal information, we will act quickly to contain it, and we will inform affected students and, where required, the relevant authorities without undue delay.
19.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our service or the law changes. The new version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. For important changes we will also inform students on WhatsApp.
